Help!!! Aftermarket radio not turning on

I have a 96 camaro z28 and it had the Bose system it. I just put an aftermarket head unit in and it was working just fine until I realized I mixed up the speak wires so I went back to fix them and hook them up to the right ones then I turned the car on to acc to see if it was working and now the car dings 2 times and the seat belt light flashes when I put it in acc and now the radio won't turn on. **

Re: Help!!! Aftermarket radio not turning on

sounds like you might have mixed up some wires again. if you can say wire up the old stoc harness back into the car and buy the dash kit for $9 at walmart.... if you dont have your stock wiring connector anymore i have one from a bose car ill sell you

Re: Help!!! Aftermarket radio not turning on

you could try checking the wiring according to the typical color section here
http://www.installdr.com/InstallDocs/GM/PDF/460061.PDF

I installed my stereo using crutchfield instructions and had one minor issue I think but don't remember what it was...maybe two wires were colored as what they stated maybe you moved a power wire or ground?

Any luck? were all the wires plugged in? Is the radio doing anything? Have you checked your fuses?

Check fuses first, you could have crossed some wires and blew a fuse! And if you did blow a fuse you may need to recheck your wiring... heat shrink is better than electrical tape
