Question Is this amp ok?

Ok. I think I'm ready to purchase an amp for my my system, but would like to get your opinions on this one. I want to push about 400-500watts to my 10" L7 solo baric. Here are the specs of the Alpine MRV-T420

oh, and my L7 solo baric is a dual 4 ohm

That amp won't provide enough power for that sub. You will have to wire it for 8 ohms and that will mean approx. half the rated power than at 4ohms bridged.

Look into something class D like maybe a JBL 600.1 off e-bay.
