Aftermarket Head Unit with the Monsoon System
Hi,
I have an aftermarket head unit, a JVC KD-AVX33 and I have been very happy with it.
I use it with my stock monsoon amp and speakers and I have added a 10" subwoofer with a Rockford Fosgate 700S amp, with which I ran two 12" Punch HE2 subs before but now I just have one 10" because I am tired of real hard bass.
Anyways, the problem I have is that the sail panel speakers do not work, no bass coming out of them, since they are only for bass. Does anyone know what the problem could be? Is the problem with the Monsoon amp not turning on or something? Is there a separate "remote on" wire for the Monsoon amp at the factory harness behind the radio? Everywhere I read online, it says that it works by signal sensing.
