never understood why its got to be premium fuel in them premium Camaros, since like the 3rd gen era.. XFE Camaro coming I hope, 87 octane, 30 city PLEASE???

^ Compression ratio dictates octane requirements. Since the L engines are a higher compression, they need the higher octane.

drop the compression. i dont really need 300 hp if im paying $4 to go 26 miles.

another great podcast! Hey that was pretty funny, I was listening at the shop again and Anthony came in and ask "what did he just say???". I couldn't stop laughing!! Its always fun listening to the podcast!

Easier said than done. Get a daily driver then and leave the toy in the garage like most of us do. And $4 to go 26 miles would be ~ 22mpg. Pretty decent, IMO. You can put 89 in it if you want. It may ping a little though.

Wow! I never thought that my husband would ever join any forum. I belong to about 20 different ones and he always asks "whats going on now". this is great! he has now joined the best one there is!!! Good for you Anthony!!

^^ And Scott, that Sig pic is hilarious! I've always liked it. Looks like they're actually listening too.

I am still a firm believer that these cars ACTUALLY DO have personalities. My 85 Firebird was quite pronounced and liked her dash rubbed as my buddy's Berlinetta did too. My current Z28 is more subtle (she doesn't like to be woken up, alike her owner) and I'm sure the new ones have it too.
