It's happy hour for autoworkers.

We start off the show by talking about a story that broke in the Detroit media about a handful of autoworkers who would take their lunch at a park to drink and smoke…then go back to work and continue building cars. You guys must REALLY be blind.... That is OBVIOUSLY a new Z28, and OBVIOUSLY an LSA power plant.. If I can tell, you should be able to as well, along with the loose nut behind the camera.

And I'm really surprised the UAW Potheads haven't made it to the news yet. That it simply the problem with most workers who are just there to mooch of the system and get paid to do nothing. Like the typical worker who clock is, does the bear minimum and takes two days to do a job that would normally take five hours. What if truck drivers were smoking pot and drinking at lunch? The FED's wouldn't have that, now would they? (They don't.. We get random drug and alcohol screenings) But it's ok for someone building CARS to do it.

And isn't this the SAME plant that our hero O'Bama visited a couple months ago?? They must think they are on easy street having the Super-Prez giving them a seal of approval. Don't get me started.,., And the unions are TOUGH to get into. You know how many of us gearheads would LOVE to have their job? AND the paycheck!!

You are way behind. the images we referenced were from last week that were just more of the same car. Not the new ones recently released.

And it is not obviously a Z28, unless you saw a badge that said so. It is the ASSUMED Z28...which is a safe assumption to make, I think we can all agree.

We'll talk more about it in next week's show.

As a recently retired autoworker this has been going on for years, I am surprised they got fired however they will more than likely get there jobs back due to the collective bargaining agreement. They will send them to rehab and get them there jobs back, They may have been fired. However you didn't hear the union say that. Most people work hard in the factories, However there are those who abuse the system. I have seen the UAW protect some real pieces of work over the years.
