Better fuel economy-DualPoint Wireless

On Monday, June 9, I expect to receive a product from DualPoint Wireless. Dualpoint is a new company seeking investors to bring this product fully into production.

Basically, their product taps into the computer system of a vehicle and connects it through either cell or satellite communications so vehicle functions may be monitored. There are two light beams at the start of a drag race, and these beams are associated with the Pre-Stage and Stage lights on the Tree.

The Pre-Statge and Stage beams are generally located 6-7 inches apart and the distance the tire moves between the beams is called the "roll out".

The Pre-Stage beam provides the driver notification that he/she is 6-7 inches away from the Stage beam.

May 24th, 2008 I drove to Lee Automall and asked the owner for the crappiest vehicle on the lot that he needed to sell. Within minutes i received the keys to a relatively "beat" Dodge conversion van that was fairly nice inside (although very spartan), which contrasted with the rather weatherbeaten look on the exterior.

Oxford Dragway is only 30 miles from the dealership but the trip takes awhile due to the back roads so I took the time to make sure the brakes, stereo, and...
