paint or not to paint

Posted 01-09-2013 at 05:36 PM by BLUROK87
hello, i just joined up here and want to know what you think. i have an all original 87 350tpi IROC.bought from the original owner, never seen winter, and garaged its whole life..fairly pristine except for the 25 years of paint chips and minor scratches.should i paint this or is it worth more original? I was also thinking of some bolt ons such as cat back exhaust, custom wheels. and some minor suspension work, as these can be put back to stock easily....whaddaya think?

1997 z28

Posted 09-24-2012 at 07:09 PM by Miles
Have 97 z28 that I rebuilt motor and transmission. motor has comp cam xfi 280/288..576/570 1.6 rockers and ported and polished heads. trans has 2500 stall and 4.10 gears in the rear. cam is suppose to go to 6200rpm. took it to the track and it is bouncing off the rev limiter before it will shift in to gear at full throttle. i have had the car tunned and wondered if it wiil hold together if i take out the rev limiter. the car is still pulling hard at 6200
