SRT4s and growing up.

Posted 08-17-2008 at 08:46 PM by guionM
I recently came across an a deal that tested my comittment to RWD vehicles.

There was a Dodge Neon SRT4 that I could have had for about $8,000. No, it wasn't a clapped out, ran to the edge of breaking car owned by some teenager that doesn't know the meaning of overboost or what that red part on the tachometer means. It was owned by a person my age who picked it up and simply outgrew it.

He wanted to get something a bit more comfortable. Yes, the SRT4 was quick, yes...

Cars I've owned (long.... bring a lunch)

But they were held at bay by Ford management, and alot of what was planned for Mustang never saw the light of day.

When the '94 Cobra was being developed, Ford expected GM to use the L98 engine, not the LT1 lifted directly from the Corvette. There was a supercharged Mustang that appalled...

First Blog... a bit about me.

Posted 07-11-2008 at 04:13 PM by guionM
This being my first blog here, I want to than Jason again for making this possible.

I was thinking about doing something like this on MySpace, making a series of blogs on automobiles and using it as a springboard for a book on automotive trivia, cars I drove, or just general automotive stuff. I plan to do that here... and more.

Those of you who have read my posts (something like 12,000 and counting) I tend to get a little carried away when straightening out a misconception...
