Need a little help for a 1994 Camaro z28.....

Hello, I can't get the computer codes for my 94 z28 (it has automatic transmission). If I use a OBD1 scanner to get codes, it turns both fans on.
Does anyone knows if when disabling the anti theft system, the computer codes could not be retrieved?
Also this car runs hot, both fans will not turn on when needed, the only way they turn on is when braking for large distances (500 m).
I've already changed all temperature sensors, thermostat, water pump, hoses and radiator and computer.
I will appreciate very much if someone has an idea of what could be wrong.

What gears are really better?I have a 94 camaro 6-speed and I keep hearing two different stories. One says that 3.73's are better, and the other is that 4.10's are better for a 6-speed which one is accurate please tell me.

Sorry about that last stupid comment I just logged on and was trying to ask a question not answer yours, but to answer your question first bleed the cooling system and check all of your cooling relays and connections. If not run a wire to 1 fan and see if it works, if it does then you probably have a wire break down or bad connection and it only gets a good connection when your braking and the harness moves from the force.
