intake leak Serious problem??

i have a 94 camaro z28 t top stock hope to change that soon but i have an intake leak and at first thought it to be a rear seal but after looking i realize that it is a intake leak at the back of the manifold....is a simple intake gasket all i need to fix the problem or is this a more serious problem then i thought?

I don't know the answer to your question, but I wanted you to know that most people don't browse the blogs section of this board, and you would probably be better off posting your question on the LT1 engine tech forum.

Jake is right. The blog is meant to be more of a journalistic column where you get to self-publish articles relating to your life. Specifically, your life as loosely related to the F-body. Tell you what: I'll blog about it sometime in the future.
In the mean time, go browse the LT1 tech forums, and you will find much information and people willing to help you with the intake leak. Jake has already provided you with a convenient link. |

Even if this ISN'T the right place to ask, I'll still help you.
This is a fairly common problem. I suggest getting the updated gaskets right from GM and NOT from a parts house. That should cure your problem! |
