So Ford finally listened...

So Ford finally listened...
I've been saying for years that Ford should put the eco-boost engine on a regular cab, short bed F-150. There are dozens of combos for the F-150, but that unfortunately was not one of them. Well I guess Ford finally budged to us hot rodders and made the truck... Too bad it's named after the shakes you get when you have Parkinson disease. Still looks good though.

It does have worms on the sides. Oh, those are stripes. I hope it is available without such silliness.
Last gen Lightning had a supercharged V8 with, what, 380 hp? This thing is in the same ballpark...

Very cool truck!
Name is TERRIBLE.
Raptor is a bad *** truck name.
Lightning is a pretty cool name.
Tremor is horrible. Kinda like TRD spelled out is TuRD. Not well thought out...

I was thinking the same thing, this may be faster than the pre-2001 lightnings, but should run similar numbers for the 2001+ models.
Updated 2001+ Lightning:
380 HP
450 TQ
4,7xxlbs
3.73 rear (4 Speed Auto)
(Pre-2001 model was 20HP and 10TQ less and 3.55 rear)
2013 Tremor: (According to the current eco-boost specs)
365 HP
420 TQ
5,080lbs*
4.10 rear (6 Speed Auto)

Will be an interesting comparison, but this truck is going to be fast that's for sure.

Re: So Ford finally listened...
I had a Ford Truck that was a "Tremor" package in 2000.
It was a Ranger Supercab that had a badass stereo system with amp, subs, and a HUGE in-dash head unit from pioneer. Called "Tremor" because of how the subs shook the truck.

Tremor is something like 300 pounds heavier than Lightning yet has a more aggressive axle ratio and more gears. Even if it isn't quite as quick it should be pretty damn close. Considering this is a V6 that gets much better fuel economy it's still pretty cool.
