The Mustang becomes more appealing to me as each day passes. I like the new Camaro, but I am going to buy the best overall package. I am really interested as to the 2011 specifications of the Mustang. Ford may have a real winner here.

It depends. The Camaro beat the 2009 Mustang pretty handily but the 2010 was more mixed since all the press vehicles had the track pack and the newer interior is so much better.
For 2011 it will not be pretty for Camaro unless they make some adjustments to the suspension.

The point I'm trying to make is, adding 60-80 hp to the Mustang, will certainly not weaken it's position.

I think 0-60mph is pretty useless.
My 2005 Grand Prix could probably almost 0-60mph as fast as my Camaro if I put street tires on it.
3600 stall, 3.73 gears, ~ 380-400rwhp and street tires = blowing the tires off and just sitting there. While my Grand Prix will just chirp and Go.
Of course I'm talking about WOT and not rolling into the throttle like I have to do on street tires; but that isn't going to give you the true capability on 0-60 if you have to roll into the throttle...
All in all I don't even care, I look forward to some more cars around that can play.
I think the best test any of them could do would be to put some 15" wheels on with ET Streets, dead hook the SOB and run a 1/4mile. Even if you don't dead hook the MPH will still stay about the same and give a good indication of power to weight.

I said this and was made fun of. a new camaro trapping 110 mph pulling a good 60' should run at least a mid 12. I went 12.6 @ 106 with a high 1.7x 60'.
