I keep telling you guys, but no one is listening. Scott said that he believed that an SS vette was very unlikely, but he posted the history of it and said that there would be reason to do it. We all know how Scott talks, and if he says unlikely, he means it. If it was true, he would of talked around the topic, never giving actually lying. 
Now...I'm just saying there isn't going to be an SS name, there could be a super hi performance vette.

It would seem that if the SS Corvette was the ultimate Vette, than an SS Camaro would be the ultimate Camaro and thus ending the debate.

Yeah there was no need to separate the forums.
There were a lot of people that were talking about "diluting" the SS image by applying it to the Cobalt, Silverado, etc. On the other side of the spectrum, applying SS to the Corvette would dilute the Corvette image.
I think the forum rules prohibit the proper response

Well, Ford builds the "GT", Corvette may get an "SS".
Personally, I think it's a really bad idea, but some at Chevy are concerned that people aren't taking the SS sub-brand seriously enough. So....it could happen.
BTW, I think I'll hang out here for awhile. The 5th gen forum is so crammed with BS threads and posts that I'm getting a headache.
