Re: Low emissions interior

lmao are you kidding me? Oh no, someone might inhale "harmful chemicals" that have never harmed anyone even though we've all been breathing it in every time we buy a new car... and the smell only lasts so long. Seriously, sometimes people just need to find something more dangerous to worry about.

Funny how Japan and California are on the same ocean.

Must be the water.

Re: Low emissions interior

I think the Japanese are worried. They know that some Domestics are equal if not better to their cars in all those areas they have touted for so long.(reliability, quality construction etc..) So they are scrambling for something to make them look fresh and pretty so car buyers wont go back to American cars. GM has got the Japanese right where they want em' now all they need is a flood of superior products. The image that japanese cars are superior is diminishing fast!

This is kind of like that kid in class who would always remind the teacher to give homework.

Re: Low emissions interior

well, you know that smell is given in the car to give you a slight rush... a high if you will... its put there on pourpose, your couch and refridgerators dont smell like that do they? what about your lawn mower? your bed? or the new carpet?

its give the customer a small high to encourage purchasing of the vehicle...

Re: Low emissions interior

So... what would happen if I spent an entire day sitting in new vehicles at a dealership? Would I get high, or die? (I'm being sarcastic lol)
