Lightbulb Hows this for a 2004 GTO?

I made this GTO using the 2002 Monaro as a starting point since that is what the car will start as. I only worked the nose, hood and front fenders since those are the only parts that will be redone. I modified the side skirt to echo the lines of the 68-69 GTO, and I added a spoiler that is similar to the one used on the 69 GTO Judge. Follow the link below (hope it works.)

The front reminds me too much of the new Sunfire for some reason (look at the way the fenders, hood and bumper meet the headlight/grille on the Sunfire). I also think the scoops are too pronounced, narrow, and far back.

Thumbs up

I like it. looks more agresive then the GM rendering (although I like that one too). I'm not too sure about those hood scoops, how about you try for bigger ones that run along that line in the middle and go down about the grill and kind of match up (like the current ws6). Or take them off entirely, I think that line in the middle is pretty neat on its own. Good job!

LOL @ the spelling in the previous post.

Its a start but I'm not crazy for that, does look more like a GTO though.

98 Blue Formula,
Great start!!

How about putting the cornering lights back in, minimizing the lower intakes while moving them closer to the bumper. And move the fog lamps outside of the lower intake slots (should be body colored all around fog lamps). And make the fog lamps round & flush, like on GM's official pic.

But definately on the right track to invoke the feeling of the '68-'69 GTO.
And I love the small, set back hood scoops. I think they looked awesome on the '68-'70 GTOs and I think they look good on your car. Looks like people want to see scoops that are reminiscent of the ones on the '71-'72 GTO. I'm not crazy about those.
