Not bad.

I like the Buick Lacrosse better.

x2.

The interior isn't bad, but the exterior is just a little out there for me.

I like the Buick more as well(GM guy here), but the interior of the Taurus looks pretty nice! and overall, seems to have more detail than the Buick.
The rear end has the Ford Interceptor concept look.

Not bad. Not great, either. Ford seems to be doing the 'average' thing atm.

Boy is Detroit ever in-love with the idea of light-colored double stitching on dark leather seats.

That said. Its a nice looking sedan, but it just doesn't say "Taurus" to me.

Agreed! The Taurus was always more of a utilitarian appliance... and not in a bad way either. This car looks too "fluffed-up".

to me it looks like the hump on the trunk is a reminder to lincolns past.

Imo, that's a GOOD thing. Even if the vehicle is an appliance, there's no reason why it should look bland and boring. As long as its not offensive, there's nothing wrong with a little extra fluff.

Mechanically, things should get more interesting with the upcoming 355hp Ecoboost 3.5. Should be good for around mid 13's. <---- that doesn't say Taurus either but i welcome it.

Some excellent and refreshing products coming out of GM and Ford lately. I'm very excited.

True, its just that I guess I'd expect an optioned out Ford sedan to be called LTD or Crown Victoria.

Looks muscular but maybe not as refined as the chrysler 200c.

Stupid location for the trunk release button. Why put it on display???

I hope they get better fit and finish on those tail lamps and rear bumper.
