I think he bow tie is just the right size for that grill. Also I don't mind the bar. Like Darth said, it is made to be there unlike the 2004.

Threxx, it comes out in Q1 2012 as a 2013 model in the USA.

The car is about 1 year from hitting dealerships.

It will be 4cyl only. NA 2.5L and new 2.0 Turbo 4.

I think it is a nice evolution of the current car. Hopefully the back end looks substantially better than the current car. That is the part that really lets down the current design.

Are you guys referring to the edge of the hood contouring above the fenders?

The reason I ask is Malibu has had them since 2008, and the Taurus only adopted them with the 2010 redesign.

To me it looks like a Malibu... evolved and refined, but still a Malibu.

Yes I'm hating on the "Chevy Bar" again...

Its chevrolet! maybe its been because I have only been alive since the 90s and the bar and bowtie has always been what chevrolet has been for me.

It's not bad the way it is, I just think the bar is played out.

Why do people think this? BMW has used the "dual kidney grills" since at least the 70's. Is it played out? To establish a design element that will become part of your brand you have to start somewhere. I like that they are sticking to it! Its only been getting better and better imo!
