Question for Nitto 555RII users
After much debate I decided to go with a set of Nitto 555RII on my Z. My question for those that already have them is what tire pressure do you run on the street and on the track? Thanks

Re: Question for Nitto 555RII users
I do not have the Nitto 555RII tires but they look real nice. I read somewhere that the softness of the rubber cuts the longevity of these tires considerably. The author of the article indicated that street driving them cuts down their life even more. And they can pick up road debris as you hiway drive. I have seen these tires used ebay'd with significant tread on them but if the author in the article is correct, then these real soft tires can "harden" under heavy use before the tread becomes low.
All that aside I think that these are great Autocross tires from my homework, but everything I read says "keep them on your second set of wheels". I would be interested to see other opinions.

Re: Question for Nitto 555RII users
Acer - I did some searchs on some other boards and it does sound like they get hard after extended road use. But i only have 47000 on my Z My last set of tires Sumotomo HTRZII lasted almost 6 years. They were soo old and hard that the sidewall blocks started to crack.
I had the tires mounted over the weekend and all I can say is GOT_DAMN! Even though they are a narrow 275 they stick like Glue! Then again this is from someone whos been driving on a set of old dryrot tires

Re: Question for Nitto 555RII users
I've run through six sets now . The tire is not nearly as sticky as a Kumho v700. There about a second slower depending on the course . For Road course work they blow the Kumhos out of the water.
I Like them because I hate switching tires at the track. Plus off track it is basically the stickiest tire out there. Word of caution this tire does not fare well in the rain.
