autocross is where you drive within a small course, marked by cones, usually setup in a parking lot or large open asphalt area. Compared to a road course, autocrosses are typically much narrower, often not much wider than the cars themselves, and are shorter in overall length, with lots of turns, closely spaced, and typically not much in the way of straightaways. if I left out anything out, please someone add it in
