Duz Electric H2O Pump work for Road Racing?
Has anyone had success with using a electric water pump on a LT1 street/road race F Body???
If you have-which make and model pump was it? CSI? Meziere? Or?
Has it been reliable/dependable? Overheating problems?

Re: Duz Electric H2O Pump work for Road Racing?
Although I have not road raced with one, I did have one on my car and for normal driving around town the temp stayed really cool, but when I drove on the interstate for awhile, the temp did creep up more than with the stock pump. This would lead me to believe that an electric pump would not be sufficient for road racing.
I'm sure there are some high flow ones out there that might do the job, but the Meziere one that I had I wouldn't trust. For drag racing it would be fine, but not for extended high RPM racing like in road racing.
Perhaps for an autocross event in a parking lot it might be fine, but I don't really consider that road racing. Road racing to me is like at Sebring or Road America.
