Bilstein Installation

Bilstein Installation
Wanted to know if it is ok to spin the shock's shaft while holding the nut in place with a wrench to tighting it up? Or is it best to hold the shaft in place and spin the nut tight, which is a pain in the neck since there is no space to get a wrench on it and turn?

Re: Bilstein Installation
there should be a allen socket on the top of the threads. six mm if im not mistaken. just hold it still while rotating the nut. im not following you too well so sorry if i stated an obvious.

Re: Bilstein Installation
I would use an air socket wrench with an allen socket to spin the shaft while holding the nut in place with a open end wrench. Basically I want to know if spinning the shaft will hurt the shock?

Re: Bilstein Installation
Yeah it's funny, but they were really an option.
Well I ended up spinning the shaft, so hopefully they will be ok. Has anyone else done the same with out problems.
Thanks
