Title pretty much sums it up. I want to take the CCW class pretty soon and was wondering if anyone else was interested in going?? Double Action on Dequindre has a pretty good price at $110+ range fee.

I'm going to call doubleaction today and see when they have classes available. Their site: http://www.doubleactionshooting.com/classes/classes.htm
Peter's on Gratiot charges $175. I'd like to get in within the next couple weeks if possible.

Hold on a second guys. Double Action does not allow you to carry your legally concealed gun on there property, yet they do offer a class. They make their money off of guns, and CCW classes yet will not allow you to CCW there. They do not get any of my business, nor should they get any of yours. Try The Firing Line, or Target Sports. They both have classes, and ranges. Also check on http://www.mgouc.com/ for a list of places that offer classes. If you get enough people together you may be able to get a private session.

Oh yeah, DA's range fee is for 3 hours worth of range, and they only shoot for maybe 1/2 hour to 45 min's.

I didn't know anything about that, I just talked to the guy from DoubleAction. $150 and bring your handgun for the range. They will supply eye and ear protection. They have a class on the 12th and 27th of April open as of now. I'll try calling Target sports tomorrow, I have to leave now for bowling.

I called Target Sports on Woodward today. $175 and their first opening is in 2 weeks. You guys have any opinion on which one to go to? I don't really care either way, but we could save $25 going to DoubleAction. What do you guys think?

What time and day would they be in either case? Can that be established yet?

You had to ask the one question I forgot to ask them!! :D I'll give them a call back tomorrow and find out. I have to imagine it would be in the afternoon. It's an 8 hour total class. 5 hour lecture on do's and dont's and 3 hours on the range. I'll find out tomorrow and let you know.

An email I just recieved from a gun dealer. Save $10? over DA, and support people who support the second ammendment at the same time. How can you even consider saving $25 to basically sleep with the enemy?

Just took the 1 day class in Hartland MI. $75.00 per person. I know it is far from east side, but better than $150.00. Also no waiting.
