fastest time in any car??

I was just wondering what the fastest time anyone has run in any car is, whether a door slammer, dragster, funny car, etc... Mine is 8.19 @164 in my dragster. Anyone else ever run in the 8's or faster?

well, there are doorslammers in the 8s, have been for a while. you did day fastest in "anything". well, i mean, they've got dragsters that scoot down the 1320 in 4 seconds at right around 300 mph, so....

I know all about the speeds cars run. I just meant the fastest time anyone on this website has run in a car. BTW, i believe the fastest run is 4.47 and fastest mph is a lil above 330.

Hopefully in the 8's on the bottle with the new door slammer Trans Am this year! I will keep ya posted.

The Camaro runs 8.60's, and I'll be testing my 4-link dragster in Atlanta on Monday. I'm expecting a 7.50 with the *small* motor.

The fastest I've been is 208mph in the 1/8...that was in a top alcohol dragster.
