expected times

Ok the other day I went to the track, managed a 14.22 and a 2.07 60ft. Are these average #'s for a stock Z?? or do u think I could hav squezzed a little more out of it. it was around 65-70 that day. my car is completely stock 96 Z auto with a 3.23 in the back.

That's pretty close to stock numbers. Did you just get the car? If so, I highly recommend a good tuneup along with a computer diagnosis. This way you know you are playing with a sound car.

Thats pretty close for stock, but check your plugs and wires. I run a 13.8 with cut-out and intake, i doubt that stuff gave me 4 tenths. Also what was your MPH? i trap 99-100 with those mods. My best 60'' is a 2.03.

i am feeling better and better about my times yesterday, and my best 60' wasnt even on my best run, best 60' was 2.013. but i was just gettin into the groove of things when they called me off for a tranny leak. come ta find out i accidently over filled the trans a 1/2 qt. so im sure im in the 13.9XX or maybe even the 13.8XX.
