Removing fill in letters?

Some pieces of the P O N T I A C fill in chunked off, now I need to remove the small fragments. They seem to be on there for good now. How can I get them off without damaging the paint?

I got some stuff at advanced auto parts, not sure what its called, but it is specifically made for taking off decals and stickers from paint.

Use your fingernail to remove the vinyl. If glue/adhesive remains behind then use something like Goo Gone or Bumpersticker Remover to remove the glue/adhesive. You can get this stuff from your local autoparts store.

Thanks guys. They appeared to be stuck on there like madness though.

i got behind mine w/ some fishing line and "sawed" them off.

Heat up the stickers with a heat gun or hair dryer and then peel them off.l
