Hey, best place to mount aftermarket crossover in door?

Hey, best place to mount aftermarket crossover in door?

Just bought a new set of Kicker 65.2 speakers and was wondering where the hell to mount the huge crossover? anyone have any ideas? Thanks

I hot glued mine to the door panel...

I got Fosgate Fanatic P's sound eleventy billion times better than stock.

I don't know how big the Kickers are, but my MB Quart X-overs fit under the kick panels, zip-tied to existing wiring.

There should be more then enough room under the dash to mount them. That's where I have mine. This way, you don't have to worry about any potential water damage. Just zip tie them up in the dash somewhere. Mine have been up there for 2 1/2 years with no problems.

If you look at my cardomain page you'll see that I attached mine to the door panel (screws run through them to ensure that they don't fall off) just above the "map pocket" beside the speakers.

I have also seen people put them on the back side of the door panel so they are hidden.

For my kick panel components I hid the crossovers behind the kicks/up in the lower section of the dash.

I would mount them somewhere other than in the doors, due to potential water damage.
