Does anyone know of any good kits to make my 383 fuel injected?

If you are looking for a bang for the buck EFI system, I think the Edelbrock Pro-Flo EFI system is hard to beat. FOr under 2 grand you can get pretty much everything, and it is an easy setup to work with.
For more complicated systems, Accel's SuperRam is a great choice and give you a great ability to make lots of power.
What kind of power level are you looking for?

I'd stay carb'd. I'll never try a fuel injection installation again!

I did the Accel Super Ram - it was alot of work and a great deal more hours to set up than running a carb, fuel lines, wiring, gas tank mods, and the biggest was the setting of the computer - I had to take it to shop to get it programmed. They sell the software - but it was very confusing to follow, and you don't want to mess that up!!! It cost around over $3K for the kit, and probably another $500 for flat bedding to the computer shop, fuel lines and fittings, and gas tank mod. It all depends on what you are looking to do, and the amount you want to spend.

did you feel like you gained any power over carb?

I don't think you will gain any real power from switching from carb to EFI. What it WILL do is allow much more adjustability, smoother throttle response, better gas mileage, and allows you to change settings from a laptop.....but if you dont want these things...then go with a carb.

I think that the best reason to switch to EFI is that it allows are really powerful engine with a huge cam, giant carb and no throttle respsonse, to be driven on the street. If you look at alot of peoples 600hp/tq+ street driven cars, EFI is the number one choice, becasue it allows you to take these wild motors, and tame them to be street driven.

If your looking for 500 hp/tq and will drive it on the street all the time, I think you would be happy with Accel's Super Ram. Great system, my friends 383 loves it!

Fuel system mods are mainly the thing that's a pain in the ass. Give Accel a call and they will tell you everything you need to set it up.

I agree with teamsleep - I enjoy my Super Ram - but it was a project and a half to install it - i.e. time and effort. Is it better over carb - I would say yes - for the same reasons that teamsleep mentioned. Like I mentioned earlier - it all depends upon what your budget is, and what you are looking to do with the car.
