I am planning to buy an MTX Thunder 8000 10" sub and a JL 250/1 amp. I've been looking at the following websites.

Has anyone bought anything from these sites? Are they reputable? Problems? I've never dealt with any of them, so I'm just looking for some impressions / feedback.

Never bought from those sites..... but why not Ebay? It's the cheapest place to find anything. Buy from someone with over 1k positive feedbacks and you can be pretty sure you will have a smooth transaction.

I've bought stuff on ebay before, but the prices on those sites are almost as low as ebay.

 

I've personally used, and can highly recommend:

www.cbrstereo.com and www.thezeb.com

 

These are both great sites, I have nothing but good things to say about 'em. I used them alot before I got my current hook up. (Now it's time for the obligatory) HOOKUP!

 

Oh, and I nearly forgot. Don't get those MTX 8000's, there are much better subs out there in the same price range. I would do the exact opposite of what you are doing, buy an MTX amp and a JL sub. Or all JL if you like 'em.

 

I have also used CBRStereo.com and thezeb.com Their prices are hard to beat and thezeb has a program, if you find the product cheaper somewhere else, they will beat the price, gauranteed. I got them to knock off $125 from the sub I bought. You should check them out.
