The BMR springs lower the car 2", right ? I could email you some of my pics when my Z was lowered 2". I installed 1.5" springs a few months later because my front tires were worn on the inside. According to some alignment shops you cannot align it when the car is lowered more than 1.5"....It seems you have to get adjustable upper arms in order to align the wheel correctly when going that low....
Just get the Eibach springs, good price, not uncomfortable, don't need new shocks.....

BMR only lowers the car 1". I'm lowered 1.5" right now, and need to raise it back up because of my LT's and Y pipe. I'm also looking for a spring that is a lil bit softer than my G2's.

The Eibach springs that I bought (Ebay) are supposed to lower the car 1". They were part of the SLP suspension package, however they lowered mine 1.5", at least what it looks like....
Just an idea: if you want to lower it less than that, why don't you just cut the original springs ? If you don't have them I could give you a good deal on mine since I don't think I need them anymore. Like I said, just an idea... the original springs are soft, just like you want...

i'm not goin to cut the stock springs, i've heard that ride quality goes to sh*t when u do that. i'm not wanting a ride that is Exactly like stock, i just want somethin alil closer to it with some handling ability. the progressive rate of the bmr's will help with the ride quality i think.

check out Dynamic Motorsports springs, they are supposed to be very comparable to Eibech and cheaper, www.dynamicmotorsports.com

I always have to toss in my vote for Hotchkis springs -- IMO they give the perfect "easy to live with" stance..

Thanks -- my current wheels are 18" and I will be keeping these for a LONG time..

My old wheels:

17" chrome ZR1's (came with car)
17" Boyd Coddington "blaster" billet wheels
18" chrome Z06 wheels

And these HRE's..

In a couple weeks I should be unveiling the new engine compartment

you can allign it that low but most allignment shops don't want to do it because it's too much work, you just have to kinda eyeball it i think cause they just have the specs for stock vehicles...so that means they would have to work for their money
