Whats your opinion on a 2400 stall
Depends on your goals. It may be ok, but I think for most people it would be too small. If my car was an A4, it would be way too small for what I want to do with my car. Its all up to what you want your car to be. But I also think that stall is a waste. I agree that anything less than a 2800 isnt worth doing. For my goals, I would be going with at least a 4000 stall if I had an auto. It all depends on what you are trying to do. Good luck in making your choice, maybe if you post your plans for the car people will be able to help you pick the stall that would be best for you.
Ok here is the story I had a cc306 but I droped it because the power band sucks for a auto. I also have a 3000 stall. But I switched to a xe230/236 on a 112 and just was wondering if a 2400 stall is to little to complment the cam because I believe the power starts to come on at around 2500 rpms so I figured a 2400 stall would be good. So I guess what your saying is stay with the 3000. I was just looking to make my car less noticeable when cops are around because between that and a cutout It sounds like I am racing at every stop sign. Already pulled over because of noise.

I have that stall in a daily with mods below. In short I do like it it is better that stock yet provides me with the option to go
XE 224/230 without worries but my 3.42s do help. Still I would recomend it if your not all out. Remember gas will suffer especially with a higher stall. Only thing I would recomend is getting a 10inch converter it will reduce the drag. Mine is 12 and wish it wasn't. With my addition of gears and suspension I feel confident to reach high 12s. My best pass was 13.4 @103 with streets and fat 2.73s.

My argument is this, when I installed my cam and headers, I kept the stock convertor at first, and it was great, instant throttle responce. What caused me to change was the creaping at stop lights with the 850 idle rpm I had to bump up to. Even with your cam I would keep my present convertor. By the way I have 3.23's. Anyway, I wish you satisfaction with your choice.
