Alright...What's the deal with 98+ SS spoliers on LT1 cars...

I have a 95 Z and I put a 98+ Ss spoiler on my car. Last night I noticed that when I turn on my hazzards the ABS inop light comes on. I know there have been other issues with this spoiler and there are fixes.

Has anyone else had this specific issue and if so what is the fix.

Any info would be appreciated.

Scott

You have to wire a resistor into the 3rd break light i think....lol...sounds crazy but it seems to work.

Hey, nice car!!

Sorry, i don't have an answer for your question, but I was wondering what springs you used for your lowering. The stance looks exactly what i want. Thanks a bunch

I have the Eibach Ground Control Coil overs with Bilstiens on all 4 corners. It is actually a little lower in the back now.

Question

What kind of clear corners are you running in the front? I don't think I've ever seen any like that.

If you do a search in the appearance section for ss wing or wiring wing or something similar I am sure you will get some results. Someone there has a diagram that shows you exactly how to wire the resistor. The 3rd brakelight on the 98+ tails are leds, not bulbs so the wattage going to the light is not as much and sets off a code. Hope that helps.
