hey guys,

just wondering...r there people around w/ aftermarket exhausts on their cars in the worcester area? obviously there must b, but i want to b able to hear some exhausts b4 i buy a cat-back. the ones i want to hear the most are prbly...the SLP LM, SLP 2OTL, Magnaflow, Flowmaster, Hooker, and all other thoughts at reasonably priced cat-backs or set-ups i could do...im stock so the best thing to hear would b a stock or near stock car w/ the exhaust. plz lemme know guz and u can contact me thru AIM too, my screen name is in the sig.

i agree with slowhawk although i have an ls1 you can hear my loudmouth. personally i loved my 2otl from my 95 Z

 

You can hear how crappy my flowmaster sounds with/headers/OR pipe/cam.

 

no offense but i gotta say it blowmaster always sound horrible except there race mufflers no offense

It actually sounded nice when I was stock. Sound deep and throaty. Then it got loud and raspy (with some popping) when I added full exhaust. The popping went away w/cam and it sounds flat out loud with the cam when I get on it. It sucks that the tone changes with mods, but thats the ay it goes. I think the LM will free up some hp because of its design. I might go with that next.

 

lm will be crazy loud with headers i woulnt do that if i were you tracer x one of slowhawks friends has slp headers and loudmouth on his ls1 z and it is extremely loud it was louder than my 95 i would go with the 2otl or borla or even hooker but hooker will be loud also.

I actually typed that I was gonna maybe get a LM and put a dynomax bullet muffler. It didnt show up

 

ahhh owell i think it is gonna be very loud and unless you know someone noone will give you a sticker.

 

i have flows and they sound fine. i was goin to go to a loudmouth then i heard one..... think b&b is my next one

 

I just installed a set of Mac headers and off road y-pipe (no cats) The car has a SLP loud mouth. Its the loudest thing I have ever heard on a street car.
I personally wouldn't have my car that loud.

You can see and hear it make pulls at the Dyno Day.

Fired my Z up tonight. Turns out 2 out of 3 bolts that connect the y-pipe to the off-road pipe fell out!!!!!!! I put 2 new bolts in and 95% of the exhaust leak went away. Now I have most of the exhaut coming out through the flowmaster muffler. Its damn loud, and doesnt sound too bad i am running damn rich though at idle I can smell it, but thats what happens when you got overlap.

 

you wanted to hear exhuasts i didn't see you there? there were quite a few lt1's motly borla but it could have given you some idea's?
