exhaust installation Q's

are exhaust systems from rksports.com able to just be put on without cutting and welding...i mean can i do it myself or does it have to be done in a shop??

Any exhaust can be slip-fitted and clamped at your house with a few basic hand tools.

Although, the better way to go would be to get it installed, barely snug the clamps so pipes won't slip out, and granny it to the exhaust shop and then just pay for them to weld it up.

to answer your question, yes they should just bolt on.

Some of these exhausts are slip fit and dont exactly bolt right right on. Some exhausts like the flowmaster american thunder with the 80 series muffler say you may have to put the car on jack stands and lower part of the right rear axle cause the intermediate pipe is one big peice and and cant clear it. If you get a system like the borla adjustable cat back that is all slip fit and in multiple peices you wont encounter these issues.

I installed my borla with the clamps and so far it has been holding up just fine.

I also have to second that, Borla kicks ASS! OH, and easy install too!
