surging at idle
surging at idle
Ive noticed that after warming up for awhile, my 94 ta will surge a great deal particularly at a stop light to the point where I have to apply a fair amount of brake pressure to keep her from moving. My opti is about 50,000 miles old and I have a new one to replace, is this the problem? I have replaced the fuel pressure regulator last summer, and I checked the injectors which appear to be fine without any leaking. Appreciate the input, didnt know if anyone out there has experienced the same sit she ashun.
Have you had the injectors prof. cleaned yet. If not, have it done.
Pull the hose off the EGR and plug it and see how it drives. Also check and clean the IAC.
If none of that works, check the signals from the O2's. After they warm up disconnect them and hook a meter to them. then pull a vacuum hose and the o2's should immed. go to 0.2 volts. If they don't they got lazy.
just my .02 good luck
