I bought GM Motive gears from Dave (Thanks Dave) at Ramchargers and had them installed at DTS yesterday. I just finished the break in period and will have some fun tonight, but i can feel the difference just cruising around at normal speeds and there is no noise coming from my rear end.

Pros so Far: Feels like there is more power, no noise, Good combo with Pro 5.0/LSS, My Loudmouth is louder going 70 on the freeway

Cons: I havent been able to floor it yet

 

cool. I think the 4:10 is perfect for the 6 sp. cars. I need to put mine in on my Iroc. but its not the best choice for auto cars w/FI unless they are modified alot since those eng.s typ. dont make power above 6K rpms. your gonna love it. plus now you get to use 6th gear alot more often.

Holy cow! 4.10s are a beast! I thought my car was gonna take off after shifting to second at redline. While playing with it on Woodward, my SES light came on. Turns out one of my O2's was causing it. All i can say is

How much did DTS charge for installation?

 

It was $225+$10 for shop fees.
