Cat Replacement

What is the easiest way to change cats on a 94 V6? I have the new cat, but it looks like i have to drop the cat-back section of the exhaust to get the old one off.

Also, can anyone reccomend a good wiper chassis for a 94? I can't get the Bosch one to clear my windshield properly, and I'd get GM blades. but they're damn expensive and I lost the little clips that slide in the ends.
