It keeps popping out and won't stay in. I think it's bent or something. How much does a replacement one cost?

 

Mine was cracked, and i wanted a new one. At the dealer it cost 57.00 for the whole thing, thats how they want to sell it to you. Although i think it has a seperate part number on it, so you could try to oder just the one peice, Or else it is possible to fix it with tape. Thats what i did untill i got one from the salvage yard. Personally i would get a new one from a wrecked car. Try www.fparts.us they should be able to get you one cheap.

 

Broke mine on the 97SS when I was replacing the boot with a "real leather" one.

Ordered one through the dealer. Don't think it cost that much, but I don't know about the 95 version.

At any rate, you must be very careful when installing these things. They are very fragile.

My broken one is still in since it didn't seem to bother it much. But I fee comfortable having the spare.
