instant detailer or spray wax?

anyone have any suggestions or tips? i was thinking about getting something easy to use between waxes for a little bit of shine and protection with little mess.

It depends on what products you are using now, but most manufacturers make a quick detail spray or a spray wax, I would stick with the same brand that you wax with, that way your sure there will be no negitive reaction.

Carl is right on. Generally you should use a QD product that matches the type of wax or sealant you are using. For instance, if you are using a carnauba wax, use a QD spray made for use with carnauba waxes. If you're using a sealant, use a QD with NO wax, that is made for use with the sealant. If you're looking for local products to use, I'd recommend either Mother's Showtime or DuraGloss Fast, Clean, and Shine spray. Both of these work nice and are pretty cheap. Of course, if you use Zaino, the Z6 QD is the best.....

Anything is good. An instant detailer is only temporary and them it comes off when you wash your car or it rains. The hard part is getting the finish to look even and free of "shadows" that the stuff leaves. Micro fiber polishing clothes take care of that and work great.
