Old style Z28 emblem, like Super dave has on avatar?

Hey guys, i just wondered how you guys think those emblems would look on my blue Z (car pics in sig). Also, how hard is it to throw them on the car? Anybody have them on a blue car? Or black is close enough too. Thanks.

THANKS!! I get many comments about them. You'd be surprised how many people don't recognize them though, and ask if they are "original".... of course 1969 was quite awhile ago.

These emblems look great but I wouldn't want to punch holes in the side of my car to attach them. Perhaps removing the studs and using some kind of 3m double sided adhesive tape. For the front, I JB-welded threaded studs.

EXACTLY!!! I had to use a dremel to buzz the stems off and pounded the emblems flat since they are very curved to match the '69 cars front fenders. I used a bech vise, leather glove, 2x4 and a hammer. I put the emblem after buzzing off the stems into a leather glove to protect the finish and smashed them "fairly" flat in a vise. I used a hammer and 2x4 to make them fit the fender perfect and used 3M body side molding type double sided tape. They are on VERY TIGHT. If needed though a blow drier and some WD40 will make it look stock again without drilling holdes in the body. Next to the 98+ SS spoiler only, as the easiest visual change/improvement.

As evidenced by JETMAN95Z28's car, the Emblems look great on a black car. The Red, White, and chrome work very well on a black car. A navy blue car might work as well.
