3.8 Vs a Mustang GT

Yeah, a friend of mine has a 2003 Mustang GT, and we decided to race. We were side by side untill my car shifted into 3rd, and she pulled away. My front was about 5 feet from her rear end. I guess we were going about 60MPH by then (lol never looked at the gauges) Yeah I lost, but hey, I kept up with that GT. I never fell any farther behind either. It was fun too, plus it was a friend. Also raced my friend's 96 Grand Am GT. I beat him by a good car link. Well, nothing big really, but still, I kept up with a mustang GT, good times

road racing? lol I didnt know where to really post at. Speaking of which, what is autocross? Some guy came through the drivethrough the other night and had numbers on his windows and he said he was doing autocross.

a story like htat should go in the "track kill stories"...formerly known as "kill stories"

good run, was the GT an auto? seems like it would've given you a better run than that...

autocross is typically running a set course, outlined by cones, typically done at lower speeds (opposed to road racing which does some high speed runs). it involves lots of turns and curves.

lots of fun and improves your driving skill

That funny lol,but no offence.Racing cars on the road

But captain this has been my experience one more than one occasion.I whipped a few w/ my v6.But normally just like your experience really close loss. too the autos. The manuals are a different story.
I beaten them at road coarses(sticks&autos) too..But can be attributed in part to the stangs driver being hesitant or unsure,I usally dont hold back. The 3.8 is potent, mines not all stock
