Zaino

I want to buy some Zaino...never bought before and was just wondering whats good to buy...I dont wanna go all out and spend a lot of cash at once on a product I've never tried so what all should I get to start with to get the best shine?

No need to go all out if you don't want to. I started on three basic products......Z1, Z2, and Z7. This will give the finish a great shine with lasting protection. If you have some light marring go with the Z5 polish instead of Z2. Many of the other products compliment the system, like QD spray, tire gloss, leather products, glass and plastic polishes, etc.... I would however strongly recommend you clay the car before you use the polish. IMO claying is one of the single most important prep steps. Zaino has one of the best clays around, the Z18, or you can use local products like Mother's or Clay Magic.

If you do use Z1 instead of ZFX, be sure to apply a thin coat of Z1 first, do not buff it off, then apply Z2 or Z5 directly on top of the Z1. Let the products dry then buff. Of course the new ZFX makes this process much faster and easier, so it's up to you. You can read all about the Zaino products at www.zainobros.com

Also you will need to use high quality toweling so the finish remains marr and swirl free. I prefer mcrofiber towels from www.microfibertech.com although I have many great cotton towels that work fine too, like the POLO towel, Noble Choice, etc...

HTH!

Basic would be Z-1 and Z-2

little bit better would be Z-1, Z-2, Z-6

even a little better add the Z-7 and Z-18.

I've heard a few people mention that there is a "starter pack" availible. Is this the case?

If so, how much does it cost, and what is included?

Thanks!

No, there is no starter pack, you can see the individual products on www.zainobros.com Too many people use different products to have a one size fits all package....

Mr_Superman, where do you live in KY, I'm in Louisville. I'm not a distributor, but I've been keeping extra supplies on hand for members of the KY F-Bodies Unlimited Club and all the locals. I even help folks get started when I have time.

I was one of the first members of the KY F-Bodies Unlimited Club. I'm not a distributor, but have been keeping extra supplies on hand for the locals and members of the club. Since I'm not a distributor I don't ship, and if I did it wouldn't save you anything. If you are around my area I can give you what you need. We may be organizing a meet in Franfort or Lexington for me to take out some orders to some of the folks out in that area.

If you haven't registered on our club board, do so and say HI.
