What Suspension Parts Interchange On 3rd and 4th Gen Cars?

What Suspension Parts Interchange On 3rd and 4th Gen Cars?
I was wondering what parts will fit either a 3rd gen or 4th gen car.

I thought that a lot of parts will interchange from the rear suspension. Want to make sure though before I buy anything.

I have been told that third gen and 4th gen rear shocks are interchangeable. Beyond that, I am not sure.

On the front nothing is interchangable.
On the rear: shocks, springs, pan-hard bar, trailing arms, torque arm. I think you could swap the hole rear axel, but you'd have to use the right offset on rear wheels.

The width of the axle is also not the same I believe.
