Will 50# injectors be enough to feed this combo? This package is going in My SS soon.
Thanks Jeff 96 SS

Probably not. I'd run bigger(low impedance) injectors and either a FAST system or Jeff Stevens' impedance converter.

Exactly if you've spent that much on great parts, just buy some large injectors and something to run em (new computer or LJs box which i currently run and like).

Where can I get LJs Box and how much will that set me back? How big should I go on injectors with LJ's box 72# enough?

Thanks

You can get LJ's box here.

I'd say 72s would be right.

I would also recommend going with 72 lb injectors. I have heard nothing good about MSD 50 lb injectors.

50# injectors are good to about 590 bhp....I too think the 72# would be the better choice...that puts you inthe 720 rwhp range.

I may need to bigger than 72# if your saying they can only support 720RWHP. I think This combo is capable of more than that espeicially if I increase the boost.

What is a good source for big injectors?

As far as brands go I would recommend going with either Delphi or Siemen. Another option would be to look into 83 lbers. But regardless of what size injector you go with you will need an low impedance convertor box.

Actually, on stock fuel pressure, a 72# injector will handle 850hp. I got my Sieman's from Injector Dude.

I'm 99% sure that I will have to step up to 72# or 83# injectors so if anyone is interested in my 50# MSD's, then let me know.

Thanks Guys it looks like 72#ers and LJ's box for me! I apreciate the help I probably would have blown up a very expensive engine try to tune with those little 50#ers in their. I'm sure I'll have more questions as the project progresses. I'll be sure and let you know how much this monster makes to the wheels when finished.. Any guesses?

Thanks Jeff

You will want a real fuel pump from Weldon or one like it.
