MikeLS 03-05-2003, 09:10 PM I forgot to add.....you'd better watch out for the tough competition! I've got my eye on that old white station wagon to the right. I'm betting it takes top honors! :D :p

Indy93Z28 03-05-2003, 11:26 PM Looks nice! (your car not the wagon ;) )
Allen66 03-06-2003, 01:47 PM Cool! That is a great looking ride.
The wagon would make a great "sleeper." :)
stik6shift98 03-06-2003, 05:24 PM Proof again Zaino is the only way to go!
fbird95 03-11-2003, 05:20 PM Looks good. I always thought that Zaino was little expensive. I feel that i get similar results using other products. If you want the Zaino effect you just need quite a few coats of a quality polish before you start to wax the car, and by a few i mean about 5 or more and then the wax of at least 3 coats.
I'm not bashing on the Zaino, it definatly is the top gun, but for those out there like me who dont want to pay the price you could try this instead.
No its not quicker, no its not eaiser, but it costs less.
hcvone 03-12-2003, 08:26 AM You do not use "wax" over top or with Zaino. Zaino is a synthetic wax, it was called a polish when Sal invented his product so there would be no confusion about Zaino being a carnauba product, and most of my customers give their cars 2-3 applications per year, and one coat per application. About Zaino being expensive, if you use Zaino the way it should be applied you will find that you can get 16-30 applications from a 8 oz bottle (I can get 30 plus applications on a C5 Vette), most people that use Zaino on a regular basis know that Zaino costs no more than other store bought products. :)

Never said you did.

I'm a total car care n00b and only had my Camaro for about 5 days.
Is there anyone here, who does not sell Zanio, that will support the above quoted statement? I really want to take good care of my new baby!
BTW, sweet shine on your ride Crazy8!
Crazy8 03-13-2003, 08:40 AM I can honestly say that the statement is absolutely true!!:D The first couple of times that I applied zaino I thought I was going to use too much. I filled the bottle up about half way (1 oz) and put 3 coats on. I STILL HAD ENOUGH TO PUT ANOTHER 1 TO 2 COATS ON!!! I couldn’t believe how little is actually used. I would definitely invest in zaino if you are serious about taking GOOD care of your car.
BTW- thanks for all the replies :D
Clean Adobe 03-13-2003, 09:21 AM I got 32 coats out of a Z2 bottle on a Toyota Camry. I really like Zaino and use it on my wifes daily driver. However I like to use various stuff and use Klasse, S100, Clear Kote products, Blitz Wax, etc on my car.
Actually I need to order some more Z stuff. Almost out.

Wow, being a car care noob and going straight to Zaino is kinda like getting a Ferrari as your first car. :p Nothing wrong with that, of course, and it's good to set your sights high. ;)
Anyhow, yes, I agree completely with Carl's statement as well, and I don't sell Zaino. :D As far as cost effectiveness, I find that Zaino is actually LESS expensive than your average products, due to the fact that the Z products are very concentrated and go a looooong way, when applied properly. Of course, how many coats you get out of a bottle depends on the size of the area you're polishing, but on average I'd say I get 16 coats per bottle on my car.
This site might interest you about Zaino versus the average car care product: http://www.bariaur.com/e39/zaino.html
I'd guess I'd better warn you though, that 9 out of 10 Zaino'ers, become addicted to car care and can't resist the urge to polish often. This has been known to cause extreme excitement and being ultra-anal about keeping a perfect show car-like finish that others will greatly admire. Consider yourself warned! :p
:)
Kevin V 2002 SS 03-13-2003, 11:21 AM I'm not a distributor but am the local guru in my area. I've been using Zaino for 5 years. It is the hands down BEST of everything I've tried for 35 years. Of course that is why in the Guru Report, in testing 46 car care products, Zaino came in first overall and in synthetics.
I get about 16 coats from each 8 oz. bottle of polish. My son is better at applying it thin and gets about 24 coats or more from a single bottle. You use VERY little per application.
Chris8891 03-15-2003, 05:18 PM Hopefully one of these links will work:

This is Formula 113, it costs less and works just as goodfrom what I've seen, but I've never used Zaino before
CAJUN-Z 03-16-2003, 08:40 AM Synthetic wax and engine oil seems to be the way to go!....

Isn't that the truth! Zaino for the exterior....Mobil1 for the interior.....errr, engine that is. Synthetics do last and protect longer.....
:p
Mike
:)
Indy93Z28 03-16-2003, 12:24 PM Right now Zaino is protecting my car in all this rain. Definitely the way to go... but I use royal purple for the engine and stuff :D
Well.... if you guys want to see a demo of CrystalGuard in SF Bay Area, please let me know.......
