will a procharger for a rausch mustang fit on a lt1?

my friend is thinking about giving me his, him and his dad know about all of that i am not too knowledgeable about forced induction i am just wondering if there is a way to fix it up to make it fit.

i was wondering the same thing. There is a d1r procharger on ebay for cheap but it is for a mustang. I don't know whether it will fit or sorta fit or what Thanks in advance for your help

ask the person for the id number on the blower then call procharger or vortech and they should be able to look it up in their system and tell you if it will also fit your application.

the main brackets and tubings will be different from car to car.

It really depends there man. If the blower is off a 1986-1993 yes it will work but you will have to get the bracketry from the manufacter to make it work.I have done this a few times accept the other way around from a Chevy to a Ford. Yes you CAN make it work.

It would be tough to get a curved discharge to fit on an f-body. Also, It would be helpful to have the same rotation, but if you are ditching things on the pass side of the engine, you could you use a unit with opposite rotation (vette, stang).

Can someone explain how to classify rotation? IOW - Do f-bodies use counter-clockwise?

er, it's gonna rotate the same direction either side of the motor you put it on. If the SC is the opposite rotation of what you need, you'll have to mount it "backwards" with the pulley facing toward the engine (like LS1 style), rather than toward the radiator (LT1 style.
