Sadly, I am lowering the price way too low on my 69 Camaro...

But it has to go. I can't keep it and stay afloat. I'll buy another one eventually. My home improvement loan is draggin out WAY too long, work is sporadic at best right now, and I have a house under construction and at a standstill. This is the only vehicle I have that I can sell and not have to come up with cash out of my pocket to cover the loan balance thats over and above market value.

New price, $7500 FIRM. This is over $2k less than I paid for it just 6 months ago.

EDIT: my site is back online now...check everything out there (ignore the price on the web page)

You can see all the details here: www.sixtyninecamaro.com/sale.html

If you want to see pictures before the site goes back up, email me or post here and I'll email them to you.

Right now the engine is on the stand as I had plans for building a monster motor out of it. The motor is standard bore, and standard crank. It has very slight wear (less than .003). It ran excellenet when I pulled it
I sold the weak 4 speed and had a T56 6 speed lined up for it. The pics show the car with and without the cowl hood (both are included). I have an extra set of heads for the engine (which by thw way is a 454). The heads are GM large oval port 049 heads that have had some gasket matching and mild porting done. Hardened valve seats are pressed in
and the heads are roughed in for 2.19/1.88 valves. I also have brand new manley stainless undercut valves for it, still in the pacakaging.
The interior is black with bucket seats. Everything is in very good
condition. The carpet is new.
The car is 99% rust free, above and below. The trunk is solid, etc
I am hoping the site will be back up today...I exceeded bandwidth on it, but the host told me that should reset the first of the moneht, and well, here we are... I emailed them. I have a LOT more pictures on the site with details and I'd like you to see them all...

Trey hosted some pics for me. NOTE: the car is NOT pink. It's hugger orange. For some reason the camera I borroed last summer has a problem with any variation of the color red and turns it pink. You can see in the other pic the car is in fact hugger orange. I have a TON more pics of all the little details, close ups of fenders (inner & outer), quarters, trunk, interior, etc with better descriptions as soon as I can get into my site. In the meantime, here you go:

you would sell it faster and get the money you want if you had the engine back in and a trans! cause there is alot of nice camaros for $10,000 or less running, but they are too far away! i have seen about 20-40 camaros in good shape going cheap, and they run! me like alot of other people dont like to work on stuff, we like it running! now if i wanted to get a rolling car with no motor and trans in it, theres a bunch of done up cars cheap! im looking for one together and running close!

So float me an extra $1500 and I'll drive it to your house :p
Then you have a kickass car, and it's not too far from your house because it will be delivered to your driveway. Hell, for Another grand I'll put a T56 in it and a 12 bolt 4.10 geared posi as well. ;)

YEah, depends on how much power you want the car to make in the long run. It's probably 400hp now. I have access to either type of trans locally.

Killer I am still interested. I was just giving you some time to heal up. Just send me some pic's when you get a chance and let me know if you can get it running. Like I said I can get a fuse block from Summit cheap. That depends on what type of block is in the car. You can get a reman engine for those for about $700.00 bucks with a 3 year 50,000 mile warranty. The main thing is a good body and interior.

Guys if I had the money I would have to buy a dealership to keep all the cars I would buy. When the wife and I got married I had 4 muscle cars and one reg car. I have 3 cars now which is the smallest amount of car I have had in about 15 years. I told the wife if I ever hit the lotto I am going to build a garage to store all my muscle cars.

Eric I never did get any pics from you so I am guessing you sold the car.

anyone know of a car running like that in good condition? preferably a 69.

I'll put it back together for the cost of parts. The engine only needs new gaskets, though might as well do bearings while it's apart too.

A trans can be had anywhere from cheap to expensive. It could go T56, TH350, 'glide, TH400, 4l60, 200r4, 7004r4, etc...

I'd suggest an aluminum intake and a nice carb while we're at it.

The car could be a NICE runner for under $1500 above my selling price.

Hell, if someone wants to loan me $1500 for a month I'll put it back together and sell it, then pay back plus interest. Obvisouly thereis a lot of interest in the car if it was running...and the market will only get riper as the weather warms up...

Mike,

Can I fit three kids in the back seat of a '69 Camaro?

I can only fit four passengers in my Trans Am, and my family consists of five people. No car cruises for me since the summer of 2000...
