Touch up advice needed

A while back, I very gently nudged a pole while parking backwards at my complex, scraping a bit of paint off. It is in a inconspicous place, so I'm not very worried about it, but it still annoys me. The car is bright red. Does anyone have any advice on touching it up? I don't care if it's not perfect, I just would like to get some red paint over the scraped area. I have heard that aerosol paint is avaliable for this, but I'm nervous to use that..I dont want to make it worse..any advice would be appreciated..Thanks
