rookie question: monsoon system

got a 'rookie' question. I have a factory monsoon system installed in my 99 camaro. I want to change the stock head unit for a pioneer mp3 player. What do I need to consider (beyond the DIN difference)? Will I be able to use the monsoon amps, or will I need to bypass them? Thanks. :cool:
