Hooking up the battery to an Amp?

My Question is what is the best way to hook a batery wire to the amp? I would rather not come directly from my car batery to the amp is there another way, mabey something to split off of?

One more question is it that difficult to hook up a couple of subs with the bose speakers and an aftermarket HU?

just hook it up to the battery....why try something different?

You come off the battery into a fuse then to your amp.... done...

If you use one of those side post adapters to connect your power wires to the battery check to make sure that the threads aren't too long. I cracked the battery casing on 2 different batteries before I figured out what was causing it. The threaded portion is too long on some of them and bottoms out in the battery connection.

I actually use a Stainless 3/8" bolt with a nut. I thread the bolt in by hand, then tighten the nut up, that way I don't have to worry about bottoming out the screw threads.
