SONY XPLOD STEALTHY CDX-M630 or JVC El Kameleon II KD-LX300?

SONY XPLOD STEALTHY CDX-M630 or JVC El Kameleon II KD-LX300? Which one will give better sound ? I dont care about features because I dont use them any way, I need something that will play well and looks even better...

Mine is great and has never let me down, great quality. It also has great sound and many features ;)

Sony makes OK HUs, but their quality is just downfalling.

I would go with the JVC :D

I bought a JVC kameleon kd-lx333 head unit a while ago, and I'm not that impressed with the sound quality vs. my old Rockford Fosgate unit. Of course, the rockford unit did malfunction (intermittent problems) and that is why I replaced it, but the sound quality was bitchin'. Go figure ;) . I'll probably upgrade to a higher quality brand like Alpine, Clarion, or Kenwood sometime in the future. If you're like me, get the good one the first time or you'll just end up not being satisfied and have to UPGRADE (sigh..):)

I have been preaching that for years.

When I think of head units and SQ I think Alpine, Pioneer, Eclipse, Nakamichi and a few others... Not necessarily in that order though.

dont get the sony, in my experience their car audio equiptment isnt too good. i work at best buy and out of all the brands, the sonys come back the most with problems especially the ones with the motorized faces, the motors always burn out. id go with the jvc.

C'mon you have to admit most of the salesmen are pretty bad. As far as installer's I've seen good and bad.

I was just kidding around guys. I worked at BB as an installer for one summer. You guys know your stuff from what I have read, and would trust y'all to work on my car. And I don't trust many to do that.
